About glitch text

Glitch text isn't a font. It's normal Unicode — every character you paste is a real codepoint your phone or laptop already knows how to render. The trick is which codepoints we pick: zalgo stacks combining diacritics on top of each letter, vaporwave swaps to fullwidth (Such chill), bubble swaps to enclosed-letter glyphs (Ⓑⓛⓞⓜ), mirror and upside-down use lookalike characters from across Unicode, and hacker does the classic 1337 number-letter swap.

Because it's Unicode, you can paste it into Twitter, Instagram, Discord, group chat, your Steam name, even most form fields. Some platforms (notably Twitter) limit how many combining marks they show — that's why the sliders give you fine control.

How to use it

Type your text in the box at the top. All nine styles update at once. For Zalgo, drag the three sliders to control how many marks stack above, through and below each letter. Hit Copy on any card to grab that style.

If a destination strips combining marks, try Cursed (heavier zalgo), Vaporwave (no combining marks at all) or Bubble (one codepoint per letter).

Frequently asked questions

Is glitch text actually a font?
No. Every character is a real Unicode codepoint your device already supports. We just pick the right ones — combining diacritics for zalgo, fullwidth glyphs for vaporwave, enclosed letters for bubble, etc.
Will it work on Twitter / Instagram / Discord?
Yes, almost everywhere. Some platforms (Twitter especially) clip the number of combining marks they render, so heavy zalgo can look tamer there. The other styles work without restrictions.
Can screen readers read it?
Mostly no. Heavy zalgo or mirror text confuses assistive tech. Use it for vibe, not for important info — keep your bio's main meaning in plain text and decorate around it.
Why does it sometimes overflow into other lines?
Combining marks stack vertically. With high Above or Below values, the stack pokes into neighbouring lines. Lower the sliders or use Cursed (which is balanced).
Can I undo a glitch I pasted?
Just delete and retype — the diacritics aren't separable in most editors, so a backspace removes the whole stack.
Is anything saved?
Nothing. Every transformation runs in your browser, the text never leaves your device, and we don't log anything.
