Truth or Dare Generator
Hundreds of truth questions and dares across four modes — clean, spicy (PG-13), couples, and group party.
What is Truth or Dare?
Truth or Dare is the party game where on your turn you pick — truth, and you have to answer a question honestly, or dare, and you have to do whatever the group throws at you. It is one of those games that has lived for decades because it works at every age, in every language, and at every level of friendship. The catch is that running it well is hard: you need a constant flow of fresh prompts, the right tone for the room, and a way to keep things fun instead of awkward. This generator solves that. We bundle four modes — Clean for family or younger crowds, Spicy at PG-13 for older friends who want something edgier without crossing into adult territory, Couples for date nights, and Group for parties of four or more — and shuffle through them so the same prompt does not show up twice in a session. Optional player names personalise each turn. The whole game runs in your browser, with no logins, no ads inside the prompt cards, and no creepy data collection. Bring your own snacks.
How to play
Pick a mode that matches your group: clean for any age, spicy for older friends, couples for two, or group for parties. Optionally type the current player's name. On your turn click Truth, Dare, or Random for a 50/50 pick. Read the prompt out loud, then pass the device to the next player and hit Next prompt. The game keeps shuffling until you close the tab — and each list reshuffles itself when it runs out, so you will never run dry.
How the prompt picker works
Each (mode, kind) combination has its own deck of 25+ hand-written prompts. When you click a button, we use a shuffle bag: the deck is shuffled once and we deal from the top. Once the bag is empty, we reshuffle the full deck. That means you will not see the same prompt twice in a row, but every prompt eventually appears. Random Truth-or-Dare is a fair 50/50 coin flip per click, so you can let chance pick the kind too.
Which mode should I pick?
All four modes stay PG-13 — nothing explicit, nothing dangerous. Pick by audience and vibe.
| Mode | Best for | Vibe |
|---|---|---|
| Clean | Family, kids, casual hangs | Silly, safe, lots of giggles |
| Spicy (PG-13) | Older friends, sleepovers | Embarrassing, cringe, awkward — never explicit |
| Couples | Date nights, anniversaries | Sweet, romantic, low-key |
| Group | Parties of 4+ | Group dares, voting, group laughs |
